Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel at 7:30 AM and depart for Samburu Game Reserve, located in Kenya’s dramatic semi-arid northern region. Enjoy scenic views as you travel through the countryside, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in Samburu, home to rare wildlife species such as the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and the Somali Ostrich. These species are unique to northern Kenya and rarely found elsewhere.

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu Game Reserve
Spend a full day exploring the wild and beautiful Samburu Game Reserve. The reserve is known for its scenic landscapes, riverine forests, and the life-giving Ewaso Nyiro River.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives where you may spot lions, elephants, leopards, crocodiles, hippos, and a wide variety of birdlife. Samburu is also rich in culture, offering insight into the traditions of the local Samburu people.

Day 3: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve

In the afternoon, head out for a game drive across the vast savannah plains of the Mara, home to a high concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure Tented Camp or Elangata Olerai Tented Lodge.
Day 5 & Day 6: Full Days in Maasai Mara
Spend two full days exploring the iconic Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five — lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino.
The reserve is also home to wildebeest, zebras, cheetahs, hyenas, warthogs, and gazelles. Between July and October, you may witness the spectacular Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest cross the Mara River.
Optional activities include a hot air balloon safari or a visit to a traditional Maasai village (extra cost).
