Tsavo is made up of two separate parks, Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park. Located in Coast Province. Tsavo East Features is generally flat, with dry plains across which the Galana River flows. Other features include the Yatta Plateau and Lugard Falls. Tsavo West Features is more mountainous and wetter with swamps, Lake Jipe and the Mzima Springs. It is known for bird life and for its large mammal’s e.g. black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, hippo and Masai lion. There are also other smaller animals that can be spotted in the park, such as the bush baby, hartebeest, lesser kudu and Maasai giraffe.
Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo West
Pick up at 7.30am and drive south to Tsavo arriveing in time for lunch. After lunch proceed to the park for afternoon game drive in the park. A variety of animals can be seen including Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Crocodilem Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik-dik, Lesser Kudu, Nocturnal Porcupine and many more. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp Day 2: Tsavo West Early morning game drive return to the lodge/camp for late breakfast. Rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch, proceed to the park for afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp
Day 3: Tsavo West – Nairobi
Take an early pre-breakfast game drive, after breakfast drives back to Nairobi arrive late in the afternoon.
